About Us
Columbia Gorge Center is a private, nonprofit organization, incorporated in 1967 under the laws of the State of Oregon. The Center is governed by a volunteer board of directors, with daily operations conducted by an executive director and staff. Services and programs are provided at eight organization sites and numerous community employment employment locations throughout the Mid-Columbia area. The center is licensed by the Oregon Department of Human Services. (Note: All the text links are in brown except the ones on the left sided navigation bar.)
Mission
Assist people in the Mid-Columbia area with disabilities or other barriers to employment or community living to:
• achieve control of their lives
• attain competence in community living and employment
• participate in satisfying lifestyles based on the same aspirations as all citizens
